Dog leg entry to anchorage with lots of crab pots. Caught some nice size catfish on left overs...sparsely populated with a few houses and lots of greenery makes a pretty spot. No shore access or shopping. There is a small boat marina further up, but to shallow for us...fishermen in small craft to whizz by make some wake activity.

Famous creek for both an early Civil War naval battle and also the historic site of the sandstone quarry that was used to build the White House. Also the home of the first Methodist settlement in the US. A beautiful anchorage but watch the depth and tides. Well protected if you can get inside as entrance can be shallow.
