Super easy in / out. Will get mild wakes from tow traffic. During lower water we anchored in 15' of water in the Ohio- the branch itself was impassable. Great overnight anchor when transiting the area.

We were in about 19', dropped anchor and let the current set us in place for the night.
We were on the Kentucky side and did deal with a few bumps from passing barges, but nothing out of control.
This, in my opinion, is absolutely a good area to stop safely for the night.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Anchorage has charted 12 foot depths. We saw 18 foot recorded depths as we moved through the anchorage. Select depth by moving closer to shore, drop anchor and fall back downstream on current less than one mile per hour. Holding is good in sand. High Trees will give protection from winds from SE around to NW but anchorage is exposed to other winds and wakes. Cell reception is good and there looks to be possible shore access at the creek mouth if Fido needs to get off the boat.
