The trip up the Wye River is very scenic with many large estates. Pickering Cove is very isolated, although there were two other boats in site. I was able to gain shore access using the Audubon Club canoe / kayak launch. The road leading into the access was a great place to walk the dog. While having coffee in the morning we watch crabbers checking nets / traps.
