Anchor set immediately. No current noted and well protected from all except southeast quadrant.
Best shore access is about a 1/4-1/2 mile dinghy ride to boat ramps shown on chart just north of town. Two nice ramps in a large, mostly empty park with lots of room for dogs. Surprisingly clean rest room facilities in small white building southeast of the boat ramp.
Nothing nearby, so very quiet. Be wary of 'fuzzy bills' (midges) at night. Boat was swarmed by them.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
