We came up the river to avoid the predicted 20 knot winds. Anchorage grabbed on the first try. We anchored on the north side of the bay. Peaceful night.

This is an unprotected location that is very rolly from both the ocean swells and wakes from fishing boats.

Great Location and that is it. The docks are exposed to wakes from all of the river traffic and the ferries. No amenities and no dockside water while we were there. It is a great location to see downtown Halifax and the energy of the city.

It took several tries to get the anchor to set in 7-8 ft. Easy dingy ride to the beach to access Glass Window bridge and Queens Bath.

A dock has been built where this is marked on the chart. We anchored slightly to the north but it was very close to the channel. Depth was 15ft.
