Shallow draft boats only. 3' depths coming in from the lake. 4 miles on up to the Springs. There is a marina with limited supplies and restrooms on the south side. Salt Springs National Park is on the north side with a swimming area and restrooms and showers. A campground is on north 1/4 mile.
It's a popular family area. Restaurants are 1/2 to 3/4 walk away.
Relaxing nature sounds prevail after hours. Great place to spend the day or night.
