Lots of seaweed when we pulled it up in the morning. Nervous about heading out to ICW going north with shoals after hurricane Ian so went back out to the south and then north to ICW. No boat traffic and we were alone all night. Only stayed one night.

As noted, holding is good after a solid set: the bottom is sand and shell, scoured well by the tidal current.
We approached from the north, turning south out of the ICW about halfway between markers 1 & 2.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Charted depth accurate. Never saw less than 9.5 feet. Anchored at the mark with 11.5 feet. Great for deep draft boats. Easy in and out. Probably not good for windy day..not much protection ..some wakes but pretty far from main channel. Scenery and sunset nice..anchor set quick and strong.
