We are in a 70 ft Hatteras with stabilizing system and we are being rocked by boat traffic all evening. This anchorage should be removed from the list. It's fine that an anchorage is by a channel and even a busy one but the quick rise in depth amplifies this location as the ferries hit with wake and it reflects back doubling the swells.

Very much a functional anchorage, not pretty and a fair amount of wake from passing boats and ferries, but great holding and easy access to the Atlantic and the ICW. Protection is better from the SW than it looks. Plenty of room for lots of boats.
