July 22 2022 anchored here with boat we were traveling with. About ten others were also anchored here. Can dingy to Onset town Dock for grocery, hardware and ice cream. Good holding. Pleasant setting. Saw dog on dingy going to Wickets island with owner rowing. Area is inside no wake area outside of marked navigation channel and marked channels going into the safe harbor marina and moorings. Make sure to stay out of channels but decent room for anchoring out of moorings and channels.

Lovely spot with about a dozen other boats at anchor. Onset Island has a dinghy dock for access, but crowded with rafted boats. Easy access to Onset village with busy streets and quaint shops.

Plenty of room to anchor outside of mooring fields and outside of channels. Good holding in heavy, muddy sand.

Wickets Island is a city park. The shores are lined with small boats hanging out on busy weekends. You can land on the beach on the north side or on the floating dock on the west side. Great spot for boat dogs!

July, 2023 We came in while it was raining. There were about 6-8 boats already anchored. Public Dinghy Dock was close. A handful of Restaurants, a hardware store, laundromat, small grocery store all within walking distance. Nice anchorage behind the Island. Held well. Nice town. Lots of marinas in Onset.
