Anchor came up muddy but wash down took it right off. I would HIGHLY SUGGEST going past the big island and entering before the 2 small islands. There are markers to help you get in. We went in before the first island and hit a submerged non charted piling and listed to the port side about 1-2 feet. A little scary to say the least. Hoping to warn others so this doesn't happen to you! It is a great anchorage, just go in AFTER the big island?
We did not go ashore so can't respond to that. We have StarLink so cell and Wi-Fi were great.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
