Pros: Big anchorage w/ plenty of room for 8-10 boats, or more. We found lots of deep water and anchored fairly close to the channel in 16-20’ depths. Good holding with 75’ of chain and not a lot of movement with the current. Stiff breeze meant no bugs. Good for a quick overnight stay.
Cons: 4 abandoned boats anchored here, kinda creepy. Had lots of Boat wakes during daylight hours, but it was a holiday weekend. No place to go for fun.
Would definitely use it again.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Have protected gear so not worried. Quiet at night. Some wakes during the day. Saw 2 groups of pink flamingos on the shoreline in the morning.
