Was here for the fall boat shows. We had a great spot near green can 1SC. Great holding in 13’. Close to the dinghy docks in Annapolis.

Never saw more lobster pot floats in the mouth of an anchorage. Go ashore on Harbor Island at the beach south of the pier and house. Keep to the shorelines and no fires above high tide line. Better to enter at half tide or less in order to see the ledges. We anchored fairly deep in the space and had 20' at MLW. Any deeper and we would have swung to close to ledges.

Ten foot tide makes having a six foot draft challenging. At low tide we started to scrape but not bad. Otherwise a great anchorage only 8 miles to Portland!

Watch for derelict and sunken boats. Anchor south of power lines. Dinghy to dock by boat ramp immediately to north, walk to village. See Harry The Potter, ice cream on the corner, and donuts from Sugar Shack. Yum!

Still about a half dozen "abandoned" boats. Hurricane Matthew relocated some. Quiet. Make sure anchor is set. Tide was 5' at highest.
