Otherwise a great anchorage except in strong northerly winds. A little southerly swell may roll in at high tide but its not much of an issue. The extremely generous owners of Harbor Island welcome you ashore on the beach in the SW corner of the anchorage. Lovely trails to the wild western shore. Just stay away from their home.

Go ashore on Harbor Island at the beach south of the pier and house. Keep to the shorelines and no fires above high tide line. Better to enter at half tide or less in order to see the ledges. We anchored fairly deep in the space and had 20' at MLW. Any deeper and we would have swung to close to ledges.
