Stayed 4 days. Current kept us aligned with channel except with N winds at slack tide we were blown just 30 feet from private docks. So moved to S of Harris Saxon bridge.

The fact that it is in a no wake zone helps minimize any rolling. Close to restaurants and marinas. The town dingy docks are in need of attention.

It was currenty and windy, but we held just fine. The depth was 10' at high tide. I waited until day 2 to post a comment. We are the only one anchored here. You could fit about 3 boats. Public docks for a dinghy isn't awesome. The restaurants have decent dinghy docks.

Holding was good, and current was moving. There is a dinghy dock available close to downtown, but the free town dock was full with boats staying longer than the posted time. Several shops downtown and fun soda fountain in the drug store.

The current can get moving pretty good. It is a very short dinghy ride to multiple restaurants.

Can dinghy to the public park to west.
