Others in our group anchored out near us with good holding. Very easy place to walk a dog. Friends joined us conveniently from dinghy docks at the end of most streets.

Room for 4 - 5 boats with swing room. No wake as small boat traffic respected 6 mph limit. Avoid dropping anchor at marked underwater cable area. When we were there on w/e, locals and small tour boats slowly cruise the Spa Creek, but all quiets down at sunset. Note Spa Creek bridge in harbor has vertical height of 14- 16 ft and has restricted opening times during the day.

You can anchor or pick up a city mooring ($30). Water taxi service or town or a short dinghy ride. Truxton Park is a good place for dogs to go ashore and there are floating dinghy docks where street dead end into the creek.
