This is apparently where everyone goes, and we met a lot of nice people. However, that does make for some heavy boat traffic, especially on a weekend.
LOTS of room to anchor though. Since there isn't a ton of wind protection, be prepared to swing any direction. We definitely did full circles.
The best part of this though was how close we could get to the beautiful white beach...it was an EASY paddleboard, and had it not been choppy, I probably would have swam in.
Weather permitting, this will easily be our top choice for anchoring in Panama City.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Anchored in 10’ of water, 100’ North of Shell Island. Short dingy ride or swim to this white sandy island. Not much protection from North, East or West winds. Great place.
