Narrow channel leading to/from Lake Ogleton.
All private homes bordering this very safe anchorage. Yes, in warm season there are water skiers, tubers, and jet skier; so what!? They are(to me) fun to watch!
Nights calm.
An excellent spot as an overnight "jump-off point" in a very safe anchorage coming from Baltimore to Solomon's Island or reverse.
If you have a powered dinghy, it is about 3 miles to downtown Annapolis.

I give White Rocks a "5 Star Rating" (Chesapeake Bay Criteria Used). Is it a so called "resort Marina?" Nope But it has improvements made since other reviews including "T Ends" on docks for easy transit docking with new electrical outlets. We are having boat detailed here by Brandon Harris (703 350 3403) and some "do it ourselves work." It has on the premises the fantastic MIKE'S CRABHOUSE N. Yep crabs are a very pricy item thanks to Washington's ineptitude on fuel prices….BUT, heh…nothing could be finer in the cruising area of the Chesapeake Bay than to dive into a pile of Chesapeake Blue Crabs at a drive to or dock up Combination Marina & CRABHOUSE.
Nancy is the personage who answers the phone when you call White Rocks Marina (most times); you'll not reach a more knowledgeable and gracious Marina office "Miss INDESPENSIBLE" on the Bay!View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Top notch Marina with a variety of slips including covered slips. The availability of the covered slips may be limited because of returning boaters year after year. Famil owned and family service at this 1st. Class Marina and boat yard. Fuel available "next door" at the Maryland Yacht Club.

I concur with all of the excellent comments already given.
Maryland Yacht Club is a very reasonably priced fueling station for both gasoline and diesel fuel.

Near the headwaters of Nabbs Creek…off of Stoney Creek near the southern side of the mouth of the Patapsico River (the main entrance to the port of Baltimore) this is a small modern sheltered marina with excellent water depths and floating pits. Staff is willing to cooperate helping dock. This is also a "stack and launch" marina. It is part of the locally owned Trident Marine Group. No fuel facilities…Maryland Yacht Club is nearby for fuel.Broken Oar Restaurant on premises. Marty is manager.

My oh my...our arrival in mid March of 2020 to visit our friend Betty jn nearby Jupiter turned into a 2.5 month "residency" at this first class "hurricane certified marina!"
Soverel is not cheap...in any sense of the word; it is right in the middle of the motor yachting center of the East Coast of the USA!
Two things led to our serendipity stay at this excellent facility:
1) A simple oil change for our new generator by independent mechanic Hank Arnold (Hank's Mobil Marine Service) turned into a major necessary refurbishing of SIGMACHI 's twin J &T DD 671N engines by Hank
And
2) the Chinese Virus quarantines shut dow marinas and in particular the Florida Keys where we had hoped to visit Waterway Guide Northern Editors George and Patricia Hospodar!
Though we spent most of our time at Betty's home, safety and security of our vessel was never in question under the watchful eye of Dockmaster Stephen and his extremely professional and courteous staff!

We were welcomed here on June 23, 2020 after a fuel stop turned into an overnight when the courteous manager told me that there was a mobile mechanic nearby and I called Leo Rlss and he said he'd be over to fix our hydraulic steering "as soon as the rain stopped." He was and he filled the lines with fluid!
The service was tremendous! In the face of an incoming thunderstorm the manager and the boat fork lift driver hooked up our electrical lines after pulling SIGMACHI to another position on the face dock.
All of the other reviews are correct. Be sure to walk up the dick and the lovely landscaping and live oaks festooned with Spanish moss is emblematic of the "old Southern ambiance.
Zachary's Riverview Restaurant is on premises and serves a limited menu of basic local cusine.
Just a very nice stop!View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

A very subjective "5 star rating! Both of the other reviews are "spot on!" If you're looking for a "Pier 66 Ft. Lauderdale place"... you're daft..in this hidden hamlet in the lowlands of the Georgia AICW.
We discovered Kilkenny Marina on our way to Florida in January of 2020 using Waterway Guide. Last fueling place before Brunswick, GA.
Brothers Robert and Danny run this simple marina, bait shop and limited general store.
A historic plantation home is next door and an upscale restaurant.
We are here again by design on June 25, 2020. This place is the heartland of traditional American values and country ingenuity; IE: the home built "cleatless" piers!
Please, please get off your vessel and stroll down the lzne behind the store to see the grandest display of ancient live oaks draped with mystical Spanish moss leading to the colonial Plantation house.
The infamous "Sherman's March to the Sea" ended nearby.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Superb! There are many choices for dockage in Daytona Beach. This one has been around since about 1900! A working Repair Yard and a Marina. The fuel dock is often used for transients. Excellent captain's lounge, showers and laundry right at the dock! Chart House Restaurant above Dockmaster's office. 24 hr dockmaster. Billy tied up a 100' er seconds before us and adroitly handled lines with Sarah. Sarah hooked up our hard to reach electrical plugs. Billy set up and took down our passerelle. First rate service!

To paraphrase an old wag...Olverson’s has been a resort marina sine before resort marinas were popular! Real swimming pool too!
With about 300 slips and many of them covered, this deep water facility is an old timer family owned business. Diesel and gas pumps, two concrete launching ramps and acres of parking (and land storage for trailers, RVs and boats).
It is about 12 miles from the mouth of the Potomac River to the Yeocomico River on the Virginia side. Then follow the markers to Lodge Creek.
Lots of room for visiting yachts and trailer boats too! A sizable community of permanent or seasonal slip holders this is an older laid back lifestyle. There are no “haulout facilities “ here but a substantial travel lift and marine railway is only a mile away.
Many MTOA and AGLCA member boats stop here.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Tw0 previous reviews are "spot on!" Two seperatseparate entities Deltaville Marina and Deltaville Boat Yard but work hand and hand with each other. The friendly attitude extends to all staff. Service by DBY is nonpareil. Have both slip at new floating docks and vessel undergoing refit at DBY...including electrical, air conditioning, upgrade of electronics and engine annual maintenance.
