Every time we come back to the Marina at Edison Ford it is like coming home. Harbormaster Carley makes sure we have everything we need and Deckhands Elijiah and Marc are ready to catch lines and assist with hookups. With Publix an easy 1/4 mile walk and Pinchers Restaurant on-site you have all that you need right at this "Old Florida" style marina. BUT, downtown Ft. Myers and all of its activities are a little over a mile away so a good walk or Uber can get you into the heart of Ft Myers very quickly and the Edison Ford Winter Estate is right next door for daily tours. They have also recently added a boaters lounge which has great wifi with a TV and space for different events. The bathrooms/showers are clean as it gets and the Simple laundry room has one washer/dryer setup. All-in-all one of our favorite Florida Marinas.

Anchorage Review for Little Majors Spot

Anchored here for winds from all ways....especially West. Good protection and holding in mostly sand. Very little swell. As you enter depths will get thin fairly fast. We anchored in 5.9ft at mid tide and there were several sail boats around us with much deeper keels that did fine. Quick dinghy trip to Staniel Cay stores and Yacht Club.

Anchorage Review for Causeway Island G9

Again, easy entrance, even with the dredge working along the ICW. Called Towboat US just to check and they gave great directions and recommendations on depth. Channel in was 8'+. We anchored in 7' off the channel and enjoyed a very nice peaceful evening before heading further north on the ICW. We would stay here again.
