Very nice marina. Attentive staff. All amenities available. Stayed a week. Very well maintained facilities. Quick haul and solved a replaced raw water pump leakage problem caused by poor workmanship at Hinckley Marine in Savannah, GA. Would definitely stay again if ever in area.

Traveling westward, we tied up on north side before entering lock. We missed the 5 o'clock close. it was rainy with winds and we were thankful for good tie up lines available on our starboard side. Fog next morning delayed our departure westward but we didn't mind a bit. Wasn't looking for anything more than a tie up so perfect for us.

Traveling westward, stayed on south wall after passing through lock. Stayed one night. Great spot next to cleared field. Had to use our lines in rings. Theirs were too short and slimy. We turned boat around to face lock and tied up on starboard side.

Protected anchorage in a tight canal. Safe but not private. Felt like we were camping in the neighborhood back yard. Not room for more than one boat of our size. Anchor exactly on spot. Only stayed overnight so did not go ashore.

Fuel and water in slip. Pump out on fuel dock. Able to give us a slip even though fishing tournament going on. Dockmaster recognized our AGLCA association and we got a good break on slip rental. Still, cost was high but worth it. Marina staff very helpful. Would definately stay again if ever back in area.

Anchorage Review for The Glimmer Glass

Vessel Type: Power
LOA: 47'
Draft: 3.5'Overall Rating:2Traveled up from Cape May and after 9 hours was looking forward to anchoring. Did not stay here. Too many paddleboarders and kayakers over this small area severely limiting maneuverability for us. Looked and felt too shallow although it seemed to have the stated depth. We went on a Sunday and would tell all transients to stay far away from this inlet at least on weekends. Extremely busy with locals.

Storms in evening kept us rocking all night. Anchor held firm. If we were to anchor here again, might go a little closer to land but not sure that would solve the rocking and rolling. Would choose another location before trying here again.

Marina Review for Brunswick Landing Marina, Inc.

Called service dock several times during 1st week of July. Had to leave message and never a reply. Looking for bottom painting before heading north. We figured no call back due to Elsa approaching the area. Left Jacksonville and headed north. On way past Fernandina Beach, hit ground in channel near marker 12 and 13. Damaged rudders. Called Brunswick Landing and were referred to Service number. Called left message regarding our now damaged boat. We had minimal steering and had to get to a marina with capabilities to haul our boat. No answer. Called marina office. Was told there was no room even overnight and that the service area was backlogged 2-3 weeks. Offered no other solutions. Apparently they are the only game in town so to speak for this area to haul our 48' Bayliner. Had heard this marina was very helpful. Too bad that was not our experience. We made it to Jekyll Harbor Marina where we will try to determine our options.
