Marina Review for Slaughter Creek Marina

My husband and I have been cruising from Coral Gables, FL on our way to Annapolis and have stayed at LOTS of marinas along the way. This is the first 5 star rating we’ve given. This is not the fanciest marina we’ve stayed at, but definitely the nicest. It has a large swimming pool and a terrific restaurant on the property...but the best thing about this marina are the people. From Robert the dock master who helped us moor to Josh the general manager who gave us a ride into town to reprovision and pick up some meds....to the wait staff’s attentive service. Definitely worth a stop. And Josh also introduced to Emily’s, a roadside fruit stand (and so much more!) At his suggestion, we indulged in buying some zucchini bread and ice cream. I am going to blame him for the extra pounds, but otherwise he was as good a host as you could imagine. Try this beautiful, serene place. You will not be disappointed.

One of the best from Miami north to here. Dockmaster is wonderful. Courtesy car without any hassles. Strong current...no problem as docks are in line with current flow. And yes Crispy Cremes and coffee in the morning.

Highly recommended. Great dock hands. Have a courtesy car with no hassle. Good stop while Fernandina repairs itself. YES it has ‘skinny water’ but manageable. The bath/shower areas are very clean and tidy.

The people were spectacular. Service oriented. We were sort of pinned in in the am and the folks helped us spring out of a tight spot. A great stop on he way north...not much between here and Savannah.
