Though almost all of the berths are med-moor, the marina is easy to get in and out of. Professional dockhands came to help us tie up both in a dingy and on shore. Make sure you have 2 x 50' lines - minimum - to tie onto the mooring balls.
Excellent facilities - the nicest in Grenada, and we've been everywhere. Good restaurant, ATM on site, and many taxis to run you around town. Customs and Immigration on site. Within walking distance of a small grocery store and a chandlery.

A bit of surge on incoming tide, which won't bother you much at all on a cat. Great food at the restaurant on-site; patisserie; meat market; laundry (expensive); cottages; pool; lots of kid activities; showers; huge dinghy dock. This marina has been set up to cater to the cruising community and their kids. There are at least as many kids here as adults (7/2022). The bay is very open, so do not count on this marina as a hurricane hole. The vast majority of spaces are med-moor. Picturesque and friendly. Staff are very helpful.

Make sure you go to the dinghy dock - do not tie up to the bulkhead near the ship's store, marina office, or the restaurant. The marina is extremely aggressive about booting dinghies that tie up there. $50 to unlock. There is no signage pointing to the right place, but the dinghy dock is at the very top of C-Dock.
    Tickles is great for breakfast.

Beautiful IGY property that has been developed to serve large yachts and their crews. We dinghied into their dock, paid $3 bucks a bag to dispose of trash. On the property, there is a dive shop, fantastic full-service grocer, small ship's store and other shopping. The dinghy dock is located at the back of the marina, behind the fuel dock. Walk to a few restaurants/bars, a Pueblo grocery store, laundromat in less than 10 minutes.

The marina is a little gem! The docks are in excellent repair with electric and water at the dock. Pump-out, fuel, laundry, showers, mini-mart. Also offers rental cars at a reasonable rate and within walking distance of a couple of restaurants and bars. BONUS: the little bay outside the marina is swell-free and well protected.

We ran from Hurricane Isaias here in 2020. We killed time floating in the James River until high tide so we could make it into the channel with our 5.5' draft. We made it with no problems. We were probably the biggest boat they've ever seen in that marina, but we tied up to the bulkhead behind the cottages and rode out the storm. The restaurant was delicious and really dulled the pain of having to hunker down for the better part of the week. Would absolutely recommend it, but call ahead if you're a larger vessel. They *might* have room for 2-3 big boats at their bulkhead dock.
