The South harbor docks are in good condition and dock pedestals are clean. Dockhands wash your dock finger prior to your arrival.

The WiFi is good.

The marina security is good.

We like the Waukegan waterfront area and parks and small eateries and enjoyed the hot dogs and ice cream.

Also seen as Hurston Bend Cut Off. We used a stern anchor. Had trouble getting anchors up from the thick clay bottom. "Almost" got stuck exiting - stay center or north of center on egress!
