Bridge comment on Wilkerson (US 264) Bridge
Comment by: Drew Goddin, Jenelle, on Jun 6, 2021
Vessel Type: Sail
LOA: 45'
Our air draft is 63'6" and we passed under 2 hours before official low tide. The board said a little more than 64'. Our antenna hit the top. We've made it under other bridges at 64' without an issue so boards may be off by a few inches.

Local boaters respectful with wake. Mantus 40-lb anchor set on first try closer to high tide with depths of 20+. Held all night despite initial winds of 20 knots tapered to 5. In clear view of Thunderbolt Marina but did not go ashore. Restful night. Beautiful tidal marsh. Noted on course to revisit on return south.
