Lick Creek is a great anchorage off the Tennessee River at MM 127.8.

The entrance looks intimidating but saw between 9 and 14 feet coming in.

We are anchored here tonight with MV La Gypsie and we draft 4.9 and 4.5 feet.

Nice overnight stop along the Erie. The docks are very well kept and newish. There is a park across the street and a funky diner with good ice cream just a block away.

We are 53 LOA and fit nicely backed in. The first two slips have a 50/30 amp power pedestal.

Dockage was $20 and power was $10.

There is some wake from local boats but it was quiet and peaceful at night.

This Suntek Marina is In a state of disrepair/repair. Lots of projects going on but the place overall is a mess.

They have no fuel, the pool is gone and the laundry room machines are mostly broken. Luckily the pump out works ?. The bathrooms by the office are okay and do seemed to get cleaned somewhat regularly but things like hand the hand soap go unfilled for days.

It's dirty .. I get construction, as I have managed huge multi-million dollar projects in my career. There is definitely room for improvements here, the staff don't seem to have any vested interest in making the place look better or clean it up. The staff also don't seem to know what's going on or when anything will be finished.

Suntek needs to update their website and let transient boaters and know what to expect here. The property has so much potential.

Not a destination marina but an ok place to tie up for a night. It's basically a gas station with a marina and the docks are right by the highway so it's noisy and also buggy too.

The staff were nice and there was someone on the dock to get us tied up.
What little amenities they have are across the water and inconvenient. The fixed docks are solid but make boarding a bit difficult especially for the pooch.

There is nothing to do here and no way to get to Manteo or anywhere else as Uber and Lyft drivers are scarce.

Great Anchorage overall. No issues setting the anchor. We were there on a Saturday and the boat ramp was busy. We did get wakes from small boats entering the bay but after dark it was calm.

Nice quiet marina with newish floating docks. Staff is very helpful, clean new restrooms/showers and free laundry. There are two decent restaurants nearby but not much else. Uber into town or rent a a car if you really want to explore HHI. There is a bike path and we used our e-bikes to go into town before getting a rental car.

The docks are long and wide and you will be parallel docking. Be careful about coming in with current or wind as you will be backing out of the fairway unless you are on the outside of the first dock.

We really enjoyed our 7 night stay on HHI, great beaches and restaurants. Kayaking is great in Broad Creek and there is plenty to keep you busy.

Thunderbolt is a very nice marina with nice staff and great amenities including the use of a courtesy car - perfect for grocery store runs. There is also an awesome place nearby to get fresh, local shrimp right off the boat. (Nelson's)

We stayed 6 nights and really enjoyed exploring Savannah. It's such a walkable city with so much history and beautiful architecture.

Very nice marina. The staff are great and the amenities are great too. We loved the bike trails and with our e-bikes we were able to tour the entire island.
Had a nice lunch at the on-site restaurant.

The laundry area was a bit rustic but reasonably priced.
