Stopped in for fuel at a decent rate found the staff to be helpful and kind. If you have a second make sure you feed the turtles.

Marina Review for Harbortown Marina - Canaveral

Not the place it used to be. Since the new owners took over Harbortown Marina has gone down hill. Office staff lie straight to your face about anything and everything. Dog park has become flea infested and weeds. They are not treating the yards like the old owner did. Making it NOT pet friendly. Staff gives you attitude if you complain about things. The electric bills are questionable as everyone is paying such different rates. From $16-200. Never do they give you the reading from past months to the present month. That has to be illegally. Guest welcome themselves often and they don't live here. The homeless help themselves to the rest rooms. There is NO security what do ever around Harbortown. Constantly have random people walking on our docks. The pump out at this marina is in a bad spot and not convenient for anyone. Which means some live a-boards dump in the water. They offer No pump outs at the docks.
I could keep going but watching this marina go down hill is frustrating. Prices keep going up and service is going way down.
Presentation of the property is all that matters here sadly. New staff would be a great start. The people that work here now are way to comfortable in their positions. Making them not care at all about the marina well being.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Had a good breeze keeping us cool at night but no breeze in the morning. No real places to go ashore. Just a peaceful quiet place.

Scenery was beautiful and pretty awesome. We saw two stingrays jump out of the water and fish constantly splashing around. That's alway fun. Waters were a little rocky coming in but calmed down and by morning was like glass. We took our dogs for a walk near some apartments. No one said anything and there were no signs. I'd recommend stopping

Heading home from our trip we decided to stop at No Name Harbor again because it was so peaceful and beautiful there. This time a catamaran ran a generator that could wake up three blocks of homes. If you're going to anchor near other boaters PLEASE be respectful. You're NOT the only one in the world. Sheesh it's ridiculous

Had shore access, pet friendly, stores and shopping nearby. Wind protection was good plus it really was nice what wind we got because it cooled off our boat at night. There were some boats from locals that would go in and out of the harbor that cause wake but for the most part it was fine. The marina was very kind and the people who lived there were a nice community. I would recommend stopping here as the cost a night was reasonable and plenty of things to do.

Very peaceful place, there is a campground near by that we could hear the music playing mildly. There is also a marina that wasn't opened to outsider from what we could tell. No place to really walk our dogs but we did find and opening on possibly someone's property that looked abandoned or just gone. We took our dingy there walked our dogs cleaned up after them. There weren't any no trespassing signs so we walked them there.

A lot of shallow waters so be careful you don't hit bottom. Although I didn't give this a 5 start I would recommend Gilbert Resort. Well anchoring out and going to the restaurant for food & drinks. Live entertainment was fantastic also.

The Boater Grill Restaurant there was Fantastic! If you're planning to stop I recommend trying it. It's $8 a day and $20 for over night. Charges were based on the honesty policy. Obviously sone didn't follow it. One problem we did have was random boat came in late to swim and the were just loud and obnoxious. Otherwise we will definitely recommend this stop.

We have dogs so we had to walk them. There are places but could be better. There are two deserted sailboats closer to shore. The worst part about this stop was the massive flood lights that light up the sky. I can't forget the big party that was being held under and near the bridge. Running their engines and spinning tires.
As for the view it's pretty and the sunrise was beautifulView location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
