Late night arrival very dark and skinny water. Picked up a mooring and left early in the morning 4:30am to catch the ride up into and through Fishers Sound. Can be a very foggy area.

Have anchored here twice. Easy entrance in the dark after long day. If the wind is blowing into the cove it can be rough but holding is good. Don't go to deep into cove.

Dropped anchor July 14 after transiting from Nyack NY and up into LI sound. Nice anchorage good holding, plenty of room for other boats, but we were the only boat, calm night with correct wind direction. Fuel across the bay.
