The marina to the south has a free dingy dock and a good restaurant. No issues with wakes and current is not strong. I highly recommend moving to the north side of hospital point if strong winds are predicted. We had to reset our anchor twice before we decided to move to the north side after the reached 25 to 35kn. The holding is much better there, but it is considered the same anchorage on the navigation charts.

Fueled up before leaving Baltimore and got a pump out. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely use again.

We waited for the current to switch directions. Fairly rolly anchorage if there is much wind or commercial traffic, but the mud/clay holds very well.

Anchorage Review for Fells Point Waterfront Promenade

Shore access can be found at Captain James or more preferably the city park at Boston St. Pier Park with a grocery store across the street. We were told a 30'ish boat had sunk and just recently been pulled out a week before. So there may be some anchor hazards on the bottom.

Not too crowded and decent access to everything we have needed. As another review stated there is a dinghy dock at raw port Southtown bar. $10 for the day unless you eat a meal there.
