Marina Review for Sailcraft Service

Stopped here for a short haul to change zincs and repack my stuffing box. We needed a place to leave the boat while we visited family for Thanksgiving in western North Carolina. They accommodated us and made our stop very enjoyable. This is a service yard and not associated with the marina next door. Very protected creek and very nice employees, also efficient and quality work. The price for the haul was very reasonable and the dockage while we visited family was $25 per night. They have power and water restrooms and showers. The showers are shared with the marina next door, (Sailcraft Marina). The channel is a little skinny coming in, about 7 feet, but they texted me a chart with entry instructions and all went fine for our 5.5 foot draft. They are still replacing equipment from the recent hurricane but it didn’t slow them down. Again, really nice people. It would be 5 stars except for the need to go next door for showers and the fact they haven’t received the new washers and dryers which they have had on order for some time. All of their buildings had 4.5 feet of water in them, hence the need to replace the washers and dryers.
