Free dock with purchase of meals. First come first served. No utilities. Good food and service at restaurant. Go across the street after dinner for an ice cream. Great little town for a stroll while you're there.

April 5 2023 Stopped for early Dinner. Food was good and reasonable prices. You can stay overnight on the docks. No Power or water but good food. Docks were floating in reasonable shape with medium sized cleats. Definitely worth the visit with good staff to take care of your needs.

Sought refuge in Southport when our Morehead City to Charleston leg far exceeded forecast sea state. We arrived at ProCo when they were closed for the season. Tied up bow in, sticking out pretty far but no one complained. Nice floating dock, depth dropped to 4' with a 7' tidal change. Fishy Fishy was excellent (don't miss the hush puppies!).

This town should be on your list to stop and hang out. The Provision restaurant staff is beyond sweet. They couldn't have been nicer and even offered us free ice. The food was great! We love this little town. We walked down to the Fish Peddler and got fresh Trigger fish and then to Burney's Bakery for donuts. We got fresh bread from The Cheese Shop. Tons of places to shop here and they even have drop in yoga classes on the docks! Beautiful town to explore and super friendly people.

The restaurant is open, Great peel and eat shrimp.
The finger docks are built more for the 20-30 ft size boat, you could get a bigger boat in, but that's not what they are built for.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

The restaurant was actually closed for the season. We had the wrong address. We found this out after we docked our 43' sailboat. Had to dock stern in because the fingers weren't long enough for us.We found out at low tide the next morning that the rudder was in the mud and 7' deep mid ship. Not there fault no one was there
when we arrived. The docks were in excellent condition and we ended up eating at Fishey Fishey. Awesome food too! We would definitely go back to both! Just not stern in.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Free floating dock in front of restaurant one block from the cute downtown area. Just eat a meal there to reciprocate.
