  • Reviews Summary

The reviews for the boat storage and marina facilities present a mixed picture.

On one hand, some customers express dissatisfaction with the service, citing issues such as unfulfilled promises regarding maintenance and poor communication. One reviewer specifically mentioned a lack of action on a significant list of needed repairs and a failure to clean the boat upon pickup, leading to a negative recommendation.

Conversely, other reviews highlight positive experiences, praising the professionalism and organization of the staff, as well as the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities. One reviewer described the marina as the finest on the Great Loop, emphasizing honesty and competence. Additionally, the location is appreciated for its quietness and seclusion, making it a good choice for transient dockage, despite limited nearby activities.

Overall, while some customers had negative experiences, many others found the facility to be well-run and suitable for their needs.

We stayed there for one night on 2-4-26. Called to see if they took transient boats. They did and had room. They have wonderful new floating docks with good power and water. There are restrooms and showers on the property as well in great condition. No laundry but no big deal. The staff was great and had 3 guys come out to help with lines when docking. Plenty of room in fairway to turn around. There is a big field for the dogs to run in and go potty and property is big enough you get a good stretch of the legs. If needed, I would consider this place for boat work and storage as well. Nice hidden gem in my book.

Storage is great..that's where it ends. They had a list of about 15k dollars worth of things I needed done while sitting in their facility. None were started, or priced other than bottom paint. All questions I asked were not responded to. Even the head tank was not pumped as promised by storage contract. No wash upon pickup. They tried to charge me for polish job when there still was scum from the river when it was hauled. Pass on these people. Find another place

I visited this facility with the idea of leaving our boat here for the hurricane season. I was very impressed. It appears to be well run and well organized. The staff was professional, friendly and competent. I decided after my visit to leave our boat there.

There's not much in the area to do, but it's nice to get out of the South Florida vibe for some peace and quiet. Facilities are in spectacular shape. Great for overnights.

Very secluded, quiet marina. Good dock hands. No restaurants but good shower. We ate steaks on the boat. Left at first light for Roland Martins.

River Forest Yachting Center is an excellent choice for work or transient dockage. 30 and 50 amp available. Good water at the docks. Immaculate and well maintained restrooms, facilities and grounds.
