Another very nice Safe Harbor Marina. Great communication before we arrived giving us a site map and instructions on where to go. We did not need fuel or pumpout, so went directly to slip. Great help by the dockhand with our lines, giving us our key card, and showing us where everything was at. There is the north basin and south basin. Luckily we were in the north basin so the walk to the bathrooms/shower/laundry was not too bad. South basin is a long walk, but they have a shuttle that will drive you back and forth. Everyone was helpful and very friendly. We stayed for several days including adding on a couple for weather. They do pumpouts at your dock if requested, very handy. There is a restaurant onsite, but did not try. Showers are separate from the bathrooms. Unisex on both. There are 3 washers/dryers that work well and get a lot of use so you have to be patient. Long walk to get the dogs to a designated pee area. There are several that are located in between the condo buildings and they have poop containers and bags available as well. There is a nice walk down Alice Street to keep you off the main drag and a cute but small park called Rio which is really nice. There are other restaurants in walking distance, but most require a ride share. Locking gates to the piers so very safe. Beautiful property, saw some cool wildlife, and met lots of nice folks. Great stop.

We passed thru this bridge and the FLEC RR Bridge on Feb 10, 2026. Called about 2 mile out to see if the RR bridge was on schedule. Very pleasant and nice bridge tender who told the truth, sometimes. Hailed him when we got there and there were several boats waiting to pass. He told us when the RR Bridge opens, he will open and let us all pass and exactly what he expected. Since we are a large boat he needed out length, height, beam. Very pleasant and wonderful person to work with. Very smooth passing thru both bridges.

Draft: 3.6'We passed thru this lock on Feb 10,2026. Lockmaster was kind and efficient. Came out to help hand me the lines after the boat in front of us was supposed to go to stbd but went port and I had to scramble to get bumpers back to stbd side. He said sorry about the mix up, said no big deal it happens, folks are human. It was a 14 ft drop, easy going. All the folks in the lock were nice and helpful. One lady came out to tell my husband about staying away from the port wall as there is a board that sticks out and we had to go around another boat to exit that was having issues so we would be safe. In/out of lock in under 30 min. All the locks on the OWW were great, no issues at all. I would give these folks a 5 star rating if I could.

Called Indiantown Marina, they had no room in marina. Did not want to Cross Lake O from Roland Martin and go all the way to Stuart in one day, so called here, as we have stayed at other working boat yards and it has been fine. Rick was happy to help and said he had room on his long wall with 50A power, no water. There is a restroom, very clean, but no showers. It is a working boat yard. Staff was great to work with and sent two guys to help us get tied up. You do need the help as the bollards sit back off the wall so throwing to catch them might be difficult. It is a high wall so on our Carver 444 we and the dogs had to get off at the Aft Cabin pass-thru door. Wall sits about the same height as door, so easy step across. Make sure to place bumpers high on the boat, just below bow rail, not the rub rail. Great help with lines, they were patient as I adjusted the bumpers not realizing they needed to be a lot higher. Great place to stop if you just need a place to stay for a night in between crossing Lake O and Stuart. Said they are getting more loopers to stay here now.

Was an 8 ft lift and the turbulence from the gates was not bad, easy ride. Just had to make sure you manned both lines and fed them slowly as you went up. Great communication and I would give them 5 stars if there was a rating. Very efficient. In/out under 40 min.

We stayed there for one night on 2-4-26. Called to see if they took transient boats. They did and had room. They have wonderful new floating docks with good power and water. There are restrooms and showers on the property as well in great condition. No laundry but no big deal. The staff was great and had 3 guys come out to help with lines when docking. Plenty of room in fairway to turn around. There is a big field for the dogs to run in and go potty and property is big enough you get a good stretch of the legs. If needed, I would consider this place for boat work and storage as well. Nice hidden gem in my book.

We stayed there Oct 5-11 2025. Very large marina coming off the Cumberland river, which is a beautiful drive. They were very accommodating, letting us be flexible on coming in a day early with a good weather window just before a big rain. Lots of boats came in about same time as there were 18 of us in the lock at one time. Lots of other boaters helped with lines etc. Great staff, friendly and great info. They have 2 loaner cars for provisioning etc that you put your name on the schedule to use. Strict on time limit since lots of folks need to use them. Nice shower and restroom facilities and great laundry facilities right on the dock. Grounds are big and beautiful. Great place to walk the dogs and lots of deer everywhere, they do not seem to be afraid of people. Couple of restaurants on grounds and both are very good. Quiet and relaxing. Good place to catch up on boat chores. There is an amazing ships store onsite as well. Would stay there again.

Lots of help from other boaters coming in as most arrive later in day after going thru the big locks and making the run from Mississippi river to the Ohio river. Great places to walk the dogs. Walkable town with lots of places to eat. Beautiful murals on the river wall for the town history. We were going to stay 2 days but got a great weather window and easily adjusted our stay on Dockwa with no issues. Would stay there again and would love to explore the town more.

We stayed here on Oct 1-2 2025. Great marina with covered docks. Not so good for starlink, Marina wifi ok so long as not too many people are using it at the same time. Great staff and great help getting tied up in slip. Very nice restroom/showers and great laundry facilities. Great place to walk the dogs. Also local grocery in town has a shuttle service for provisioning. Call them they pick you up at marina and drop you back off. Great place for dock tales and to make plans with others to get thru the next two large locks. Easier if you travel in packs on these, Mel Price and Chain of Rocks. Have one person in charge to call lock master so they are not annoyed by 20 boats calling. Barges do take priority so longest wait was 2hrs, not bad on these locks. Quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Great info from dock hands. Marina staff was very nice and accommodating. Nice restrooms with showers and nice laundry but only 2 washer/dryers so have to be patient in getting laundry done. The restaurant onsite is fantastic. Great service and cajun style food. Husband loved that. Lots of other restaurants/bars in walking distance. Town is walkable and good access for dogs to potty. Good cleats to tie to, make sure lots of bumpers out as you are right on the river. There is 50A shore power available. Good place to stay for one night starting down the river. Lots of bridges to get thru to get there but timed pretty well, call ahead. Call ahead next morning on next bridges, makes it easier if they know you're coming. It is a public park so did not feel completely comfortable after dark to take the dogs to do their business, but it was fine. Easy getting off the wall next morning.

Transient boaters are put in the very back of the marina, easy access but a very, very long walk, about 1/2 mile to take the dogs to go potty. Lots of loopers stay here and had some great dock tales. There is the Horseshoe casino attached to the marina and can eat there. We did not try it. Good laundry facilities. Boater facilities in main bldg were nice, but quite the hike to get there. Showers on the piers are for everyone and we did not use. Bathrooms were fine. We got fuel and a pumpout and had to do the pumpout ourselves. Not a big deal, but wasn't expecting that for this size marina. Had Walmart Grocery delivery there and that worked great. Any place else needed to Uber. Other than very large, a nice enough marina to stay at.

They called for a mechanic who came by our slip within the hour, diagnosed the problem and had part ordered. They had it replaced and we were able to be on our way when we wanted. Great facility and staff. Very walkable with the dogs. Quiet and very pretty views. Came in on a rainy cold day. Called on VHF as approaching thru open lock. Capt Sam responded immediately and gave great directions and instructions. He helped us get tied up in the rain and told us about the marina, restaurant, and where to check in. Nice little marina to stay at before crossing Lake O. One long linear dock and Capt Sam is great at getting all the boats in the right places. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were close to restaurant/bar and had some noise, but not too bad, over every night by 11p. There is a Galley restaurant that serves breakfast starting at 5 30 a.m. They have boater/RV restrooms with a code, and regular restrooms for the restaurant/bar. Something going on every night. There are two washer/dryers that work well and use a CC or app. Only thing I wish is the showers were more private from the toilets, but not too bad. Town is easily walkable and there is a long walkway by the rim canal and runs between that and the inner canal. We walked with the dogs over 2.5 miles one way and wasn't even close to the ending. Great for bikes. Nice ships store and restaurant had good food. Would stay here again.

Very nice, smaller marina. Depths were fine coming in at low tide, just stay in marked channel. Great instructions on getting in and great help by our dockhand Dominic. Staff here, Dom, Tim and Carley is excellent. Very friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. While here we had winds sustained at 22-24mph with gusts over 35 for several hours. Dom came by before he left and made sure everyone's lines were in good shape and tied up well. There is a pump out, portable, just need to make arrangements with the office. Two boater restrooms/showers that are large and very clean. 2 ea washer/dryers that work well. Water pressure at docks is strong. New piers. There is lots of places to walk the pups around the area. Downtown Ft. Myers is less than a mile away with lots of places to eat and there is a restaurant on site as well. The winter Estates of Edison and Ford are adjacent to the marina and worth the time and money to go walk the grounds and see some great American History that shaped our world today. Offered us to stay a few days to get thru Christmas and took them up on that. Town is beautiful for Christmas, decorations and lights. Very nice marina, very well kept. Nice bathrooms and there is a separate boater bathroom with shower from the public ones. All the restrooms are clean and well stocked. Easy access to town and very walkable. There is a trolly that runs on the hour and if you have bikes, lots of trails. Lots of shops and places to eat. Big Greek community with great restaurants and bakeries. The welcome center is located here at the marina docks and the ladies are amazing. Lots of local knowledge and good information on what to do. We ate at Mama's twice, Katarinas and the Docks. We got fresh seafood from the seafood shop attached to Rusty Bellies and it was delicious. Got baked goods, pastries from National Bakery and the key lime cake is to die for. The Baklavas are fantastic. Luckily for us the person coming into our slip canceled his reservation and Mick let us know right away and offered it to us first. We took him up on it to stay thru New Years as we were finding it hard to find dockage further south. We have enjoyed our stay. Lots of places to walk the dogs. Very dog friendly town. There is a dog park about 1/4 mi away. You can even walk to the main downtown area from here. Spring Bayou we visit almost everyday to watch the manatee in there and it is a beautiful park. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open, so we walked to town and ate there. There is a grassy area close for the dogs to go potty. Lots of cats around as well. ok stop for a day, maybe two if you really like the town.

Nice Marina. They have done lots of work to fix it up. 3 Washers/Dryers. Nice bathrooms/showers. Great help getting in your slip. There is no break wall so if lots of wind or boat traffic there is a lot of waves so makes docking hard, but they are great at what they do. Piers are new but skinny with pier posts on pier and other side to tie to. Have to be careful when getting dogs off the boats, Fixed piers not floating. with the change in tides. Nice area to walk the dogs and if you go under the highway underpass there is a park and college campus to walk the dogs. Nice area. Not walkable to town, need to Uber. They are still working on the restaurant and getting the pump out hooked up. Saw a great Christmas Boat Parade while there. Lots of fun. Staff is excellent and very, very helpful. Did use Walmart grocery delivery.

Drew was very nice and easy to work with. Gave us great directions to our slip. Helped us with the lines and power hook up. Gave a lot of info on the area and showed us the marina showers etc. Was very surprised at how nice this marina is. Only staying for one night but might have stayed more. Gated code entry so folks from the town can't just stop by. Restrooms are inside the restaurant, onsite, but are separated by a code to get in. They have laundry as well. Easy walking distance to town and lots of restaurants and shops. Town is very cute. Walkable for the dogs and us. Seems pretty well protected. Highly recommend. Would stay here again.

Nice marina. Well kept. Very friendly staff and very helpful. They keep treats in the office/ships store for the fur babies. Two restaurants on site. There is a dog park about a 1/4 mile from the marina slips and lots of walking area especially if you walk the condo areas as well. Laundry room has 3 ea washer/dryers in good condition and bathroom showers are large and clean. Would stay there again.

Very nice marina. Easy to get to. Fuel dock and pumpout are just before the bridge. Fairways are a little tight, just take your time. They did have 2 dock hands come and help us with the lines to get in and tied up. A bit of a walk to get the dogs to grass but if you keep going around the ampitheater there are grassy fields for them to run around and lots of places to walk them. Shopping area attached to the the marina are very dog friendly and fun to look at all the shops. Lots of restaurants to choose from. The longer you stay the cheaper it is. We were going to stay 3 days but ended up staying a week, better price and a nice comfortable marina to stay at. If you have bikes lot more to explore. It was December and happened to be here for the Orange Beach tree lighting. Very cool festival, even had a drone light show which was spectacular. Boaters lounge has nice restrooms and showers and 3 good washer, dryers. Would stay here again.

Owner Jason is a great person with good local knowledge of the area. Helped us a lot with info on crossing the Bay. Called to get reservations day before. Called on way in and he had some boats not leave as expected due to the winds on the bay, so no dock space. He had us raft up to his 65 Ft Hatteras and Bill helped us dock in strong winds at low tide. Easy to hook to shore power and helped us with a ramp for our 60 lbs dogs to get over his boat and off to shore. Next day moved us to a slip on the dock and was very helpful in that as well. The restaurant on site has good food, we stayed 2 nights and ate there both nights. Lots of locals go there as well. Everyone was nice. Very friendly and staff enjoyed the dogs. Would visit again.

Good holding in Mud, set twice due to winds. Anchor came up clean next morning. No shore access for the dogs. River was higher and not easy to find a spot to let them off without going a distance. We have Starlink, so no issues with Cell or Wifi service. Quiet, good wake protection from Tugs but the fishermen fly by you and do not slow down. Only wakes we had to deal with. If no pets, I would highly recommend.

Stopped by here on our way down the river. Called the day before to make sure they had diesel and see if they had space available. Very nice person on phone said yes plenty of diesel, is a first come, first serve so please just call them the day you want to arrive. Call aprox 30 min to 1 hr ahead to make sure someone is available to turn the pump on for you. You do pump yourself, which I found most places make you do anyway. No readings on pump. They let you know how much fuel you took at the counter, which is in a bldg just up the way. They have drinks, and T-shirts, and Ice if needed. They took the time to write it all out, just ask. Per our calculation, right on point of what we used. Quiet, decent spot on river, rustic setting as you would expect here on the river. Was very windy and barge traffic did not move the boat much. We secured the lines well as always. Took the dogs on a nice walk up the road about a mile and a half. Good stretch after a long day of travel. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming, even the owner who stopped by later in the day to make sure everything was taken care of. Since its the last fuel stop before Mobile area, it is what it is. Not unreasonable but available. Most important. Didn't have any trouble with docks or electric hook up.

Very nice marina to stay at. Good wide slips. Staff very friendly and helpful. They do have a courtesy car for provisioning. Nice building that houses laundry with 4 washer, 4 dryers, and separate mens/womens bathrooms with plenty of space. At least 3 stall and 3 showers. Party patio on top for dock tales etc. Great place to walk your dog. A small park right by the marina and the grounds are large and great for walks. Very happy with the stay. Easy in/out just follow their directions. 2 miles from Demopolis lock where currently they are locking thru on the even hours only 6-8-10A etc.

The grounds were walkable for the dogs with a park next door. Restrooms and showers clean. Laundry was great - 3 washers and dryers. Used the Walmart App and had groceries delivered there twice. Scott was very nice and his directions into the marina to avoid a sandbar were spot on. They are working on fixing the storm damage here. Was able to take the dogs on a nice long walk so that was great. Did not use the restrooms or shower. Laundry has new machines per Scott, did not need to use. Stayed 1 night to get up early and get thru the lock which is right there. He suggested before untying to call them and see what time they will lock us thru. Nice person.

Very nice tucked away marina in a beautiful setting. We were put on a T-Dock and loved the view across the channel. So dark at night the stars were amazing. Harbormaster Chris was very nice and let me know of a state park area just down the road, closed for the season, we could walk/run the dogs off leash. It's a 3 mile round trip walk but worth it. Beautiful area. Good view of the lock from the picnic area. Dogs had a ball. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Laundry although didn't use was a nice area as well. He did have a courtesy car if needed. Entrance has some skinny water, but stay on the path they tell you and you are fine. We saw 4-5 ft under us. Nice and friendly run Marina. Clean facilities. Dog Friendly. Nice floating docks. We beam 13.11 and just fit, but enough room to get off either side of boat. Nice restaurant onsite. Good food. Liked the daily briefing for what to expect going down the
river, Marinas Anchorages where to stay what to look out for. Very informative. Would stay here again if we ever pass this way again.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
