Reviews Summary
The reviews for the marina present a mixed bag of experiences.
Positive aspects include:
- Friendly and helpful staff, particularly the dock hands who assist with docking and lines.
- Good floating docks and easy access for boats, although caution is advised regarding tides and currents.
- Proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, and other amenities, with some guests noting enjoyable dining options nearby.
- Some reviewers appreciated the small dog park and the overall atmosphere of the marina.
Negative aspects highlighted include:
- Limited facilities, with only two washrooms for the entire marina and issues with cleanliness (e.g., cockroaches).
- Lack of potable water and Wi-Fi on the docks, which was a significant drawback for some guests.
- Concerns about safety due to the busy Freedom Boat Club and potential for inexperienced boaters in windy conditions.
- Some guests expressed dissatisfaction with the location of their docking spots and the locking of bathrooms at 6 PM.
Overall, while many guests enjoyed their stay and appreciated the staff, there are notable concerns regarding facilities and safety that could deter future visitors. -

Easy in and easy out, good restaurant, West Marine, Publix, Walmart and Target are a close uber ride. Suggest taking uber to West Marine, then walk to shop and uber back. We stayed for two months and Only complaint is the bathrooms being locked. There are toilets that are open next to Freedom, but the showers in the main building are locked at night. Great helpful staff.

Stayed here 3 days to wait out some weather. Very nice staff and great help docking. Was not thrilled with where they put us, close to a working crane and right off the ICW. Asked to move, but they did not have 50A and said another boat was coming in the next day. Figured they would not with 35 Knot+ winds and they did not. They just got bought out, but was not happy that they lock the bathrooms at 6P and you cannot get in even with the code. Nothing walkable. Did manage to find a neighborhood not too far away to walk the dogs. Freedom Boat club is very busy and was not sure being on the outside of the dock if we were going to be hit by inexperienced boaters in the wind/current. Hope they improve on the facilities, as the staff was great. Restaurant on site was expensive, did not try.

We stayed for almost two months. Easy in and out but you need to watch your tides. Staff was great. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores, west marine and Walgreens close by. Good public golf course down the street.

Not a recommended stop. Two washrooms for the whole marina, plus a very busy Freedom Boat Club. No potable water or wifi on the docks, cockroaches and a maximum of 4 feet of water at low tide. All for $3 a foot. Would give no stars if possible.

Good floating docks, great help with tying up. Publix about 1/2 mile away, beach 1 mile walk. On the beach, Monday most places are closed. Good restaurants right by the marina so don't have to venture very far.

Great floating docks. Excellent Dock hands that did a fabulous job of helping us tie up with a strong current. Marina had a small dog park that was very enjoyable. Will definitely stay more than one day next time. Very strong current turning into the marina off the ICW but settles down in the marina. Nice restaurants on site.

Only planned on stopping for fuel however, the friendly energetic dock hands and the smell of the on-site grill persuaded us to stay for a night. No complaints, would visit again.
