Visited by car 2/2024 while scouting out marinas for a planned cruise down the Texas coast.

I was quoted $1.25/foot for a transient slip. Discount for weekly stays. Most slips are 19 feet wide, plus some space might be available on a T-head for wider boats. 50 amp power and water at the slip. On site pumpout and diesel. I forgot to ask about pumpout fees, but the website shows $25 for pumpout.

Just off the ICW. Depth in the marina was reported to me as 5 to 6 feet. Marina facilities appeared to be in good condition, with piers in good shape. Overall, looks well maintained.

There are two on-site employees - Dock Master and Harbor Master. They live on site, and the houses are have prominent signs. One of them is supposed to be on-site at all times. Transient slip are on the pier directly in front of the house labeled Dock Master.

I was told they "don't really do reservations." Call a day in advance, then call back 1 hour out.

On site restaurant is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Harbor Bait & Tackle is the onsite baitcamp place, they sell the fuel, and offer bait, fishing supplies, snacks, drinks, etc.

I like the look of the place, we will probably stop here on our cruise.

Harbor help was great. We are in a 78' and tied up in front of the harbor master on the floating dock. Great place to hide out for the night!

We saw an average of 7 feet deep into the transient slips, which are the six slips closest to the dock master's office, on the longest uncovered pier. The floating docks have 50 amp service and water. With a SE wind the slips were well protected. There are no dockhands but Craig and David were informative and helpful. The rate at the time of our visit was $1.00/ft. but was scheduled for a slight increase. There's 9' depth at the fuel dock with gas & diesel. An excellent restaurant is adjacent to the marina! We didn't use the restrooms/showers, so can't comment on them. We liked the marina enough that we elected to stay an extra night. The only reason for 4 vs 5 stars was the weak/sporadic wifi.

Transient slips are closest to the Dockmaster office on the longer uncovered pier. Approach and dockside is between 7 & 12' depth. Diesel and gas available at the bait shop with avg. 9' depth dockside. Modern floating docks with water and 50 amp electric. There are no dockhands but Craig and David are helpful & pleasant to deal with. We had 15-20 kt SE winds and slept well with no rocking. Restrooms & showers are about 100 yards N of transient dock. There's an excellent restaurant on site. A well stocked Dollar General is 10 minutes walk.

Great marina and great people. We were here during the TX great ice storm of 2021. Everyone there, both the people with boats and the marina staff were fabulous and very helpful. The marina has floating docks and is very nice. There is a restaurant at the marina and shopping near by. We will be back again and again.
