This is a nice marina in a beautiful park. There's a very nice lounge, laundry room and private showers. It's a short walk to town. There are lots of pizza places as well as a couple restaurants. The Mitten brewery is great and makes gourmet wood fire pizza. It's the only place for pizza we found open on Sunday. There is also a grocery store open every day which has lots of supplies. The Dock help was great too at pump out and gas pump.

Northport Harbor. The diesel on 9 June was $4.999/gal. With good water on approach and in the marina, the marina has a mix of motor and sailing boats. I visited during "low season" and only two slips were available. On the day I arrived the wind seemed difficult to discern, the flag on the tallest pole was one direction and the flags on the moored boats were a different direction; I suspect the marina's location on the peninsula may complicate wind flow. There is a short walk to the small downtown where I patronized the town grocery store, Tom's. Stayed one night.

We loved this town. Had to put in due to bad weather coming up the sound but had no problem with marina, friendly staff. Great shopping, good bathrooms, didn't use showers but I'm sure they were good. Highly recommended.

A quaint village with a nice marina. Walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Great bathhouse facilities and one of the best boaters lounges. Northport itself is a one night stay, unless you plan to spend time in other parts of the Leelanau Peninsula. If you are interested in birds, make a pass by Bellow Island.

Just some quick comments. For larger boats, maybe 45 and over, they have a 1,000' wall with power (50 and 30 amp) and water, but the reservation system doesn't accommodate it. You must call the marina directly. Northport is a quiet town with a nice beach, hiking, tennis, and golf. Restaurants are limited after Covid destruction!

Great stop and well protected harbor. All services; diesel, gasoline, freshwater and pump out are easy to get to. Bathrooms are clean, laundry is cheap and docks well-maintained. Provisioning’s for groceries and local restaurants are very close by.

This should be a must-stop location. It's location at the top of the Leelanau Peninsula means that you will be passing close when traveling south along the eastern Lake Michigan shore.

This fixed-dock basin has good electric, water, spotless bathrooms, wifi, abundant dock help, and laundry facilities ($3.00 gets you a key to the laundry room for all the washer/dryer loads you want!). The 'town' is only a couple of blocks long and wide but is untouched by the chain stores that you see in other towns. Try some donuts and sweet rolls at Barb's Bakery or a very nice dinner at the Garage Restaurant.

There are concerts and movies in the park adjoining the marina on many nights during the summer.

The village of Northport is a slice of American Pie-- cozy shops, diners, patio brewery restaurant. A nicely stocked grocery store is less than a block away from the marina. The harbor is in a park setting and well protected from winds. The staff was helpful with area suggestions.
