I can give it stars because we could not go there. They insisted we use the app to book a day pass, and their app was not let me create an account. The app is also pretty much useless. There are 55 different day pass option, that have different prices and all have the same amenities listed. So there is no sense in the app. It looks pretty from anchor

We stayed at Chub Cay from 2/17-22/24. Our original plans were to stay two nights, but we extended due to high winds. It is a beautiful marina, one of the best we have ever visited, and the staff are very accommodating. The concrete docks are very nice, although the electric pedestal at our slip was not working during our stay. It was easy enough to use the adjacent pedestal. The water at the docks is RO water and seemed fine. My TDS tester showed a reading of about 275. The marina can accommodate a variety of boats up to and including super yachts, and it is well-protected. There were quite a few sport fishing boats coming and going each day. The grounds and docks are tended and very clean. This is a multi-use resort with hotel rooms, bungalows and homes. There are a few building sites with foundations that were not completed. The resort has a fantastic saltwater infinity pool with a swim-up tiki bar. There is also a hot tub and a sandy beach. The main building houses a very nice restaurant and there is an additional bar & grill a short walk from the marina at the employee village. An onsite store has a surprising array of food and sundries. This would be a five-star marina stop if it were not for their confusing rates, which we understand to be based on demand. Our slip rate was different every night we were there and we had no idea it was changing. Boaters can select one of two rate plans, "Island Access," which includes power and water, but may be more expensive, or "Explorer," which requires you to pay water and electric separately, and we found out later there was a minimum electric charge of $25 whether you used that amount or not. You must purchase an "Idol" through the Chub Cay app, one for each day of your stay for the supposedly discounted "Explorer" rate We paid the "Island Access" rate for the first two nights and purchased "Idols" for the other three nights. Due to their pricing system it was impossible to compare the plans. I have no idea if one is more economical than the other, and the staff don't seem to be able to clarify it for you since it changes daily. We enjoyed our stay immensely, although I don't think this is a good stop for someone on a tight budget.

I generally try to write mostly positive reviews and have a lot of patience for things not being perfect. We stayed at this marina 5 nights to wait out weather. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are friendly and helpful and I would have given this a 5 star review BUT the pricing is the most ridiculous, convoluted, and swarmy system we have come across in the Bahamas and all of our travels. We are traveling with another boat, the exact same boat- same size and everything, and our reservations were booked over the phone by one person at the in one phone call. However, one of us was charged at a different rate, AND each day the rates for both of us changed "based on demand", but the marina is not even half full. They also have this system of renting "idols" which are shares of members' slips and these rentals provide some degree of discount. The staff cannot even explain the system well, nor is it clear what rate of discount you get when you purchase the idol. Once you rent an idol, your rate for water and electric increase. We are not cheap, but prefer to be in the decision making seat about where and how much money we will spend. This marina's nebulous rate system left such a bad taste in our mouths that as lovely as it is here, we likely will never return. I can't even advise folks how to better navigate it, and I am an intelligent, well-educated successful person. Just beware if you come here- you will not be able to make sense of it either. None of us in the marina could!!

Love this protected, well kept marina! Friendly staff, excellent food, amazing infinity edge pool overlooking stunning sunsets. Fuel dock has easy access & the main building's decor is beautiful.

We stayed here again for a few days on our way back North. We really enjoy this marina. We booked the stay online which gets you a discount for multi-day stays. They were not really thrilled to book us to stay there because we are a catamaran and complain because we take up 2 slips...but they put us on an end dock. We booked 4 day stay online but only ended up staying 3 due to good weather window. They do not refund your money. They will credit your account for a future stay...so before we left we went to the store and changed the credit amount to the boat slip. Still enjoyed the area. Turtle creek is a must. The pool is very nice but was really cold the last day we were there. There is a hot tub but children were doing cannon balls into it the last day we were there and no parents around.

You can anchor off and purchase a day pass to the resort ($100 for up to 5 people) - this gives you access from 7am-5pm. Each person also requires to pay $19 for annual membership.

Note the website often has offers for the pass (eg $50) so check out the offers section. Any discounted pass is not valid for holidays and tournament days

Prices valid at end March 2023

We stayed at this resort on our boat in the marina. Great stay for little over a week. Dock hands and staff were very nice and super friendly. Nice floating docks in great shape. There is a separate charge for water and electric. There is also an additional charge if you run your generator in the marina. Showers and restrooms were very nice. The only problem is they are only open from 7AM to 7PM. When the marina is busy, it can create long lines for the shower at night. There is a restaurant in the hotel and also another one on the property. There is a grocery store and gift shop. The grocery store was well stocked for the area, and prices seemed ok. They do have golf carts for rent but very nice area for walking. They also have a first aid station with a nurse and EMT with a doctor they can call. Golf cart rides were provided to the airport and Nauti Rooster restaurant upon request. This marina also has police on property. Be sure to check out Turtle Creek while you are there. The hotel provides towels for the pool and hot tub. To use the resort facilities you have to pay a resort fee. This was $19 for each of us. This fee is good for 1 year. The beach area of the resort is very nice and they have chairs on the beach. There is a bar in the hotel and also a bar at the pool. If the resort is not busy the pool bar seems to be closed but they hotel bar is very close.

A great marina with easy entry, friendly staff and floating docks. Good fishing in the pocket. We have stayed here several times and will continue to be our go to Marina when we are in the area.

Very nice marina and great and helpful staff. Stayed here for a night and enjoyed the resort on a stop over from Bimini to Nassau. The only downside is that when you pay to stay at the Marina, the resort fees are not included. Feel that that is unfortunate and should be part of your slip fee as they are not insignificant. Other than that, a great resort with great people. Really enjoyed our stay.

An ideal launch location for Bahamian adventures East and South. We docked here for two nights May 11-12, 2021. The young marina team is welcoming and responsive. Food was excellent morning to night. Make time to refresh in the huge ocean view pool. Scuba shop, grocery store and golf carts make this huge campus a convenient layover spot. Beautifully located on the edge of the Tongue of The Ocean.

A very nice marina that is barely 1/2 full. I have heard that their restaurant is quite good. However, the marina is very pricey - they have a new pricing system wherein the cost of a slip depends upon how full they are (I didn't try to get the whole schema). They also have a "day pass" available, if slips are available, but you have to be gone by the early evening. The restaurant is available only to those who are docked or have a day pass. The diesel is also about $1.00 per gallon more than Nassau.
