Plenty of water in the channel, 7-10 feet at 595 pool. Very weedy, but they keep it clear. Beautiful location, good walking trail, great restaurant on site, laundry and a courtesy van. The staff are very friendly. Great service available on site, they did a small repair for me in a very timely fashion at a very good price.

Channel is well marked, but too silted up for a 40+ sailboat. My 5' 6" draft kept finding the bottom and I was forced to abandon my approach and head on to Chattanooga.

Well marked channel coming in off the river, never marked less than 5' under the keel. Weedy on both sides but passable. Friendly staff, easy access to showers, bathrooms, and easy pet access. Had a great meal at the Docks Restaurant across the street.

Agree with earlier reviews. Good marina. Friendly staff, courtesy van, good docks and facilities. Looks like a good maintenance business on site. Channel was clear on both of our stops.

Full list of amenities and amazing customer service. The harbor is weedy, but the channel is well-marked and clear and we had 5-6' of water everywhere. Great 2-mile nature trail to stretch your legs. We enjoyed our stay here.

9-26-23 They still have a vegetation issue in this lake but they keep the channel clear. Guntersville pool was 594.3 and we had 8 feet of water or more to the docks. There is an AGLCA harbor host, m/v Compass Rose, at this location that is very helpful with local information. Two onsite restaurants and a courtesy van. Great Stop!

Angler Marina at Goose Pond was awesome. Did a great bottom job on my boat. John and Beth are good people. Goose Pond Marina was ok. Not very helpful. Staff is kind of unfriendly. Must think they are not paid to help boaters.

Helpful staff told me "no there is no gate code for the pool, it's just over there across the road". After a 1/4 mile walk mostly across the parking loot in the 97 degree heat I am told it costs $7 to jump in the pool. Who brings their wallet to go swimming. Insult to injury they were closing in 5 minutes, it was 4:15? The sign said open til 7. Not big on customer service here. Don't expect much.

We received several warnings about the weeds in entrance and appearance of low depth-- but had no trouble. The marina is in a protected bay with an excellent and knowledgeable staff. Courtesy van allowed us to get dinner at a wonderful Mexican restaurant. But the The Docks restaurant open on our second visit was great. The live music on Thursday nights and very tasty meals.

Very Friendly staff. Nice docks etc, nice area to walk clean facilities, reasonable docking. The entrance is a little hinkey till you figure out there is a channel in the weeds to follow back, just stay in the bouys.

Highly sheltered marina. Good area to walk with nearby restaurant. Very clean area. Follow buoys back through a channel for sufficient water. Friendly staff.
