We stayed at Palmetto Bay Marina in our 47 foot Trawler for five days and were very very pleased with the marina and the facilities. The dockage was very reasonable at $1.90 per ft and the Diesel price was 70 cents a gallon less than Charleston at $3.16 per gallon, and they will discount if you buy in quality. ($4.10 for gas) The docks are new with teak decks, and the marina is in the process of adding a substantial number of additional slips that should be in service soon. There are three restaurants on site, and the miles and miles of Hilton Head bike trails are easily accessible from this location. We rode our electric scooters all over the island from here. Many other restaurants and shopping are a short Uber drive away. 30 and 50 amp electric services, water and pump outs are right at the slip and the wifi was good too. This is a dolphin rich area for sightseeing and fishing opportunities readily available. There's also a marine service facility with a haul out at this location. Pat the Dockmaster is super friendly and accommodating and even can rent you a runabout Boat or Pontoon, Jet skis, Zodiacs, Kayaks etc. And when in-season, there is even a pirate ship cruise for the children, and dolphin watching cruises too. Pat also can make a great restaurant recommendations. The marina is located right off the intercostal waterway with easy in and easy out and plenty depth at the docks. We would certainly stay here again when are in the area.

We came in to Port city marina thinking we'd stay three days but after we were here and realized the amenities as well as the location we decided to stay for seven days. Taylor the Dockmaster and Tanner the assistant Dockmaster have bent over backwards to make our experience great. If we were ever in this area again we would certainly stop here at the Port City Marina, Wilmington, North Carolina.

The Belhaven Marina is a great little marina with a lot of southern charm. The attention to detail on the grounds he is very good and the staff is very accommodating Dockmaster Greg and Mick both went out of your way to meet our every need. The docs are fixed but with large fender balls for a cushioned berth. The town of Belhaven is just a few steps away with several good restaurants and meny historic homes. The dock are off the river and a fixed long-wall with plenty of depth and large fender balls along the long wall assure your boat will be in a secure birth. There was plenty of depth at the dock and power and water were available. We had initially thought we would just stay one night we decide to stay the entire weekend. The town park next-door provided a free jazz concert Saturday night and Mike from the marina played an open mic session himself which was very nice even if it was sparsely attended. There are several great restaurants available including spoon River and a little café that serves a great breakfast. If you're looking for a good place to stop Belhaven is certainly a good option and if they would happen to be full River Forest marina also a good option just a few hundred feet further from the downtown.

The Belhaven marina is a small town marina with a whole lotta charm. The grounds are excellent in terms of comfort and Greg and Mic made every attempt to accommodate our every need. There was plenty of water at the dock, which are fixed but with large balls on a long wall that ensure your boat will not be damaged. There is a town park next door, which last night had a two hour jazz concert followed by Mike the Dockmaster putting on his own open mic concert which was great. There are walkable restaurants and historic homes that can be explored. Would we come here again on our next trip through t- he answer is definitely yes. We are a 47 foot 70,000 pound Trawler and the marina was easy and easy out with not much current and or tide to contend with.

We initially thought we would stay one night but decided to stay for the entire weekend.

There is also another Marina very close - River Forest that looks quite accommodating too.
