If you want peace and quiet this is the stop. For larger draft vessels be very careful. As we turned the bend to come in our props hit at low tide. We were in the dead center of the channel but it was a moon tide. It needs a dredging. Our draft is 4 1/2ft and my depth finder showed -.5. I set my finder to be zero when the props hit.

Draft: 3.0'Overall Rating:4Holding:5Wind Protection:3Current Flow:5Wake Protection:4Scenic Beauty:4Shore Access:5This is a very large anchorage with room for many boats. There is excellent shore access to both the beach and the town where there is a dinghy dock. The inner pond is mostly moorings with little room to anchor. The town is mostly high end clothing and gift shops with a couple of restaurants, coffee, and ice cream shops. Wind protection is good from the south and East and holding was very good. Wake protection is good after dark but during the day there is always a few inconsiderate boaters.
