We had light winds, but Mantus M2 anchor was buried in soft sand. Dingied to Spanish Wells to dump trash and pick up some dinghy gas and groceries. Very nice town.
Great spot. Didn't go to the beach, but it looked very nice.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Both spots held well, plenty of room and excellent beach access. Its a wonderful place for swimming and water activities with decent snorkeling on the SE reefs. There is a swimming pig concession towards the south on the west beach with nice facilities. Spanish Wells is only a few minutes away via dinghy and you will feel wakes from all the traffic in and out of there. Fortunately, they are pretty mellow by the time they reach you.

Anything South and it gets rolly. Pig beach is fine but you will be dealing fast moving large wake tour boats all day long.

The anchorage on the west side gives direct access to "Pig Island", where friendly pigs reside. This beach is very popular with small boats who come to visit the pigs. Excellent holding in sand.
South side: Excellent holding in sand, access to beach for dog walks.
East side: This is the preferred anchorage and can get quite busy with cruising boats. Excellent holding in sand. We weathered a frontal passage with 35 knots of S, SW, W, and NW wind in squally weather with no issues.
All anchorages: Excellent LTE cell service from Aliv and BTC. It is a 2 mile dinghy ride to services at Spanish Wells.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
