Reviews Summary
The reviews highlight mixed experiences with anchoring in a muddy cove surrounded by residential homes. Many reviewers noted that the bottom was soft and muddy, making it challenging to set the anchor securely, with some experiencing dragging during the night. However, others reported good holding with a long, heavy chain and no movement recorded on their anchor alarms. The location is praised for its protection from storms and quiet evenings, with wakes diminishing at dusk. While some found it difficult to find a place to go ashore, the area is appreciated for its beautiful surroundings and as a good spot to prepare for navigating the ICWW. Overall, the anchorage offers a scenic and relatively calm environment, but the muddy conditions require extra effort in maintaining the anchor.

Quiet evening with few distant wakes. Beautiful homes surround you as you enjoy the sunset. Great location to prepare for the difficult crooked passage to the ICWW.
