Very easy in and out. Stay in the middle. Drop in 12' of water past R8. Fantastic view, calm seas with everything except SE, but even that would be fine due to the shallows outside the channel. Dinghy ride to Geiger's for restaurant and essentials.

Holding is very poor. Dusting of sand over coral. Fair-weather, no wind, only.

This bridge tender closed on us even though we hailed and he acknowledged. BE CAUTIOUS.

Such a nice bridgetender. He kept in contact with us and provided local knowledge when we lost an engine and had to wait on tow boat. Boats flying up to make the bridge and cause damage to piers with their wakes are liable for the damages.

Nicest bridge tender!! He knew the wind was gusty and opened early and held the bridge for 7 boats. Call on phone or 13. Thank you, sir!

Go as far into the anchorage as you can, or hug NE side as shrimp boats come and go at night and need the "mid-channel" depths of the unmarked channel.

Easy in, easy out. Plenty of room and clean bottom. Anchor caught on the first drop. It was really rolly even with fair weather, but not unbearable. 5G. I'm sure there's a lot of wakes on weekends

If we could give them a 10 star rating we would! The most helpful, accommodating and friendliest marina in our 3,500 miles of cruising this year. They went above and beyond all with a smile. We are in the middle of everything. We found out the hard way to use taxis rather than Uber. What a great visit!!

Excellent, very large anchorage. Lots of weekend boat traffic so snuggle up to east shore. Wal Mart nearby. Gusty west winds could be a little bumpy.
