A great free wall harbor. When entering the harbor there is a "no wake" buoy in the center of the channel. Stay slightly to the left of the bouy to avoid some shoaling. The lowest depth when entering was 8'. The dock on the left side is several hundred feet long with room for 8 to 10 boats. There is a large boat ramp and the docks closest to it are used by boats using the ramp.
The downtown is almost a mile away. There are several historic buildings. The town does a good job of using signposts to highlight historical locations and events. This is a great stop on the Tennessee River.-

Great overnight stop on a free wall. Quite, clean, and plenty of room. Only negative comment is we found no food delivery nearby

No power, no water but, there is an ice machine and restrooms.
Old State Bank is closed for refurbishment. Be sure to stop by the Morgan County Archives for a small museum and a great old bank vault door on Bank St. UBER or walk the 1.5 miles.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Free dock with lots of room and 8-10 feet of water. No fuel, power or water, but sturdy floating docks with plenty of cleats. Two clean bathrooms on the east side, no showers. We awoke to the start of a fishing tournament, but the boats were respectful leaving the harbor. There is not much in the area, but it was a good place to spend the night.

Great free dock with bathroom (no shower) and ice station. Nice launch park area to get a little exercise and walk the pups. Read no less than 7' on the port side of the channel upon entry. Didn't attempt to dine out. Had a quiet night on the boat.

Great free dock. No power. No water. Some cleats are loose but usable. Take the Trail of Tears Historical Trail just past the community centre and follow for evidence of civil war homes and places. Short detour to Banks St to see the older buildings and State Bank. Pecans and coffee shop along with other sweets can be found here.

Recently developed floating docks / boat ramp area. Several hundred feet of dock on the port side when entering, slightly less on the starboard. VERY large boat ramp and the far end, but the entire area is posted no-wake and had zero issues during our stay.
Clean restrooms in the grassy area near the docks and a gas station/convenience store a short walk away, other than that, nothing around unless you have a car.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

We stayed here one night with two other Loopers. We saw no less than 8.5 ft. of water and that was near the No Wake buoy at the entrance. Beautiful new floating docks, we tied on the east side as that provided easy access to a large green area for a buddy boat's dog. Room for lots of boats. The harbor kept us well clear of the barge traffic that ran all night. Very clean restrooms were also nearby the east dock. We did not try walking into town. Four stars only because of no water or power but then the dock was free. We were upbound so hailed the Decatur railroad bridge as we came out of the harbor and it was open when we got to it.
