What more can you ask for power, water, and a hot shower? But there is more here than just that; good food and friendly people. The wall is wood or concrete depending on were you end up and the concrete section does not have power.

We agree with the comments about watching your step. Otherwise a good stay/stop. Several restaurant choices but one was outstanding…..Harvest….. bathrooms are so/so. There is a pump out at the end of the wall. Would stop again.

Great stop. My only reason for a 4 star rating is the construction of the wall / boards are akward and if you're not paying attention you could easily hurt yourself. I know you could say that anywhere, but it's especially so here. Not hard to exit the boat, just lots of opportunity for miss-step. Even if you're not a train person, the train museum is not to be missed (the stop if worth it for that alone). Some very good restaurants within walking distance. The welcome center downtown is very helpful. Ace Hardware super close.

Nice stop, close to Main Street. A few broken boards on the wall and wakes definitely do bounce off of both sides of the canal and last awhile. 30A and 15A electric and water. Bathrooms were fine and we had no problems with the water temp in the showers. Bridge tender gives out the bath code, as others have stated. Railroad museum in town was nice and it's right next to the public library. There is an ALDI and a Tops grocery 1+ mile away. We would stay here again.

Great stop with easy docking. Main Street with stores and restaurants are within a block from the wall. Medina Falls is worth walking over to see.
Bathroom showers had cold water until we turned on the sink and shower to hot (at the same time). Plenty of hot water then.

The basin is just that: a basin. It's surrounded by concrete walls on all sides, so if there's any wake at all, you'll be rocking for quite a while. We tied up to the long concrete wall, near the end where we had access to a water spigot and were near the restrooms. There are two restrooms with showers. The ladies room floor was covered with sandy grit and had mold in the shower stall. The water temperature would not stabilize but went from cold to scalding any time you tried to adjust it. Easy access to town, including a very interesting model train museum. Restaurants, an old-style pharmacy, and a convenience store well within walking distance.

Room for about 5 40' boats with power and water. Another 6-7 without power. Bathroom is ok but not the cleanest. Trash overflowing. Nice bar and liquor store close. Model train museum very cool.

Nice long wood covered concrete ~3' wall, lots of posts, several power/water pedestals and several ladders. We were able to tie up next to a ladder to make getting on and off the boat easier. The restroom/shower was adequate, but only one each for men and women. Typical for Erie Canal free docks. Medina is a quaint upstate NY town. We had an excellent, but not inexpensive, meal at Zambistro.

Tie up along park with power and water. Two unisex restrooms in last building before the bridge and just east of pumpout (in outhouse looking structure). Restrooms entrance faces canal under 3 large black goose neck lights. Six block walk to Medina Train Museum... worth the stop!

This is a great place to stay. The city is making a comeback and there is a thriving downtown. The docks are a wall with concrete facing. Power was twin 30's and was reliable. There is an issue with wakes. The harbor is surrounded by concrete walls so any speeding idiots cause wakes to bounce off the walls. Fortunately, most boaters are considerate.

Good stop for lunch or dinner. They have a car show every Friday. If you stay, lock your boat to the wall; there have been boats untied in the past. Better for overnight would be Middle Port 5 miles further west.

Although there are some floating piers, they are very short and not suitable for boats above 20'. We tied up in between the two bridges on the south side, so we could have access to electric and water. The restrooms are hidden at the west end of the wall, underneath the Napa auto parts store. The same bridge tender serves both bridges, so you are advised to call him on his phone when you are ready to get underway. He/she will come down to your boat and leave you with a slip of paper that has the number, plus the bathroom code. It is an easy walk to several restaurants, and there is a sign on the bulletin board indicating various trails in the area that are good for walking yourself and your dogs. If you are more ambitious, you can walk to the Medina Train Museum, which is filled with train memorabilia. Highly recommend that site.
