This review is for the wall as no floating docks were present. It is a perfectly fine sea wall with bollards and shackles to tie up to. The wall is fine, not that rough at all. The wall is not that high as we could step off our diminutive Ranger Tug 29S onto the wall just fine. No water, no power, no bathrooms but no charge either. Nice little park and just steps away from the Arkell Museum of Art. Where else are you going to see a bunch of actual Homer Winslow paintings?

Not protected from east through north winds. Plenty of fetch. I would not leave my boat unattended here. We saw a Great Loop YouTube and pretty much everyone dragged. I had 7:1 out at high tide and 12:1 out at low tide. Blowing 20 knots. Held steady for 15hours and let go at low tide even though the bearing to the . anchor hadn't really changed that much. Thank the gods for my anchor alarm app. 5:15 a.m. wake up call!

Anywhere from the anchor mark to the next bend is good. We anchored in 25ft and the current kept us straight all night. The next bend was 15ft. Good dinghy exploring further up. There is shore access for hiking a bit up the way on Sandy Island Preserve. Small sand boat landing. Fast moving fishing boats all day, so make sure you Don't drop the hook in a blind spot. Quieted down at night.

Nice place to drop the hook. You will swing 180 degrees with tide change. Park is nice with old fort ruins and nice visitor center. Dinghy dock in mud within two hours of low tide. If coming from the north, the entrance to the creek was shallower than our Garmin indicated. We came through at mid-tide ( approx +3') and saw 7 feet depth.

Great place to stop but not on the weekend unless you like loud music and party boats. Arrived at 4:30 pm on a Sunday, with loud partiers. By 6:00 pm we had the place to ourselves. Sheriff Deputy stopped by and was super nice. Told us that 3' is about it for draft to come up all the way to the spring. Else anchor out and come up with dingy. He said the state is working on getting rid of the derelict boats. Gators, manatees, racoons, turtles, etc. Enjoying a lovely peaceful quite night on the hook in the spring. Crystal clear water.

We launched our trip up the St. John's River from here. We had sixteen feet of draft at low tide, so no worries there. The docks are free with a seventy-two-hour limit and have no electricity but do have two water spigots at either end of the floating docks. There are two sets of bathrooms with the ones in the blue building being slightly more serviceable (bring your own t/p). There is a sign that says that "rafting of similar sized boats is required" and there are garbage cans to empty your trash. The setting is very natural with a big flock of Northern White Pelicans huddled nearby, in fact from certain vantage points it isn't hard to imagine that you are back in the 1800's. There are designated kayak trails throughout the marshes and if we had brought our kayaks, we would have stayed for our full allotted seventy-two hours.

Don't confuse these docks with the ones on the eastern side of the park, those do not allow overnight stay "without a permit" but where you'd obtain a permit is anyone's guess. An early morning stroll around the park noted quite a few fishermen using the boat ramp on the east side and tying up to those docks. The east side did have a working free pump-out station.

Very nice anchorage. If you get there early please pull up around the bend so boats thinking that they can get into Bashi's, but can't, can get in. We had to anchor just barely inside the mouth but had good holding in 12 feet. We had three boats rafted up as "earlier" boats did not turn the bend. Two ten ft beam and one very large catamaran (26' beam ?)

Nice channel markers into the boat ramp! We came in just before sundown in a light mist so the parking lot street lamp that nicely bisected the channel markers was well placed and helpful. We dropped the hook a few yards south of the line through the red buoys and held well. Would not venture too far afield as tree tops were visible south of us. Good spot to wait for a morning lock through at Fulton L&D.

Not the cheapest, but the best. Hot tub that works, pool, great lounge, great shower/bathrooms. Great staff. Walking distance to grocery, food, coffee, shops, etc.
