We anchored here on the way down to the Keys and then on the way back. First time was a Sunday night. Lots of boats anchored but still plenty of room. Once anchored we took our dog to shore on dinghy and tied off at dinghy dock. The view of Miami is outstanding, especially at night. Only negative first night was a party boat with extremely loud music until 5:30 am. However, on the way back, we stopped on a Tuesday night and evening was very quiet all night. Was Awesome! Our anchor was set okay with one anchor adjustment. We also set the anchor alarm but was secure all night. Will definitely use this anchorage again.
