We spent three nights anchored here (10/03/25-10/06/25) and hated to leave. Quiet, very little traffic, and beautiful. We saw five wild turkeys each eve, herons, ibis, and 3 fawns splashing in the water. Good wind and wake protection.

Marina Review for Steinhatchee Marina at Deadman Bay

We have a 3 ft draft so had no problem going in or out of the well-marked channel to the marina. A large cruiser - 59 ft, got in and out on the T dock at higher tide. Dock hands helped with fueling and tie up. Floating docks are in excellent shape. The store had lots of clothing, fishing and skin diving gear, a few groceries, and a full liquor store on site. They do not currently have laundry, but they have the best and cleanest rest rooms and shower I have seen on the Loop so far since leaving Cincinnati! Although we did not use them, they had a huge bar, a restaurant with a nice menu, and a patio that would be perfect for looper docktails! Fair dockage rate. Gas was a little high, but we thought the nice people and the amenities were worth it.

Sherrie Doyle is the new owner and has a very nice setup for a small marina. She has gas and diesel available 24 hours a day. There is a small store and a full bath, including a shower, that are available when the store is open. She responded immediately after our call, so leave a message if she does not answer the phone. She is delightful and wants to serve her customers!
