Staying within the ground of the Seaport Museum is a treat. There are crews working to restore several historic ships. Observation decks allow visitors to watch this interesting work. It was a short walk to downtown Mystic with several wonderful restaurant choices. Dock staff was friendly and helpful.

This was a really nice stay. Grounds are well maintained; you have access to the Seaport; and the docks are new as are the marina guest facilities. Dock staff super nice and helpful.

Awesome!!!! Plan on 2 days minimum. Brand new floating docks. You're right in the middle of the 18 Acre Museum. . You have the whole place to Yourself after 5pm. Nice bath house. Don't miss the walk to downtown to Mystic Pizza. ( very good). Stop in at "Mystic Nautical Marine Consignment " for everything you didn't know you needed. It's across from "the Engine room" good restaurant. Yes we eat well in Mystic.

This is a different type of marina. It is right inside the museum grounds. They even give you a sign for your boat to tell people that your boat is not an exhibit and to not board. From museum hours of 10-5, there is not much privacy but dockage comes with free admission to the museum. The museum is expansive and nice with different demonstrations. They supply long fender boards to keep you off the pilings which are on a stone wall. I found getting on and off the boat to the stone wall a little challenging, even dangerous but I am sure that that varies from boat to boat. Good wifi and water depth. Nice restaurant Latitude 41 right next to the marina. Very cool being next to the museum boats. Good to do once to see the museum.

Absolutely great place to visit for a few days. The staff is expert and very helpful with docking. The only negative is the pilings are outboard of the dock so they provide you with very long fender boards which make boarding a little difficult. You have total access to the Seaport which is a real working seaport as well as an historical village with period acting workers and several restored whaling and coastal sailing ships. They recently did a nine million dollar restoration on the Mayflower for Plimouth Plantation. They have several collections that are must see. Hundreds of antique boats in various states of restoration, hundreds of engines from the smallest outboard to the largest diesel, even a working steam engine. The artifacts collections has literally hundreds of thousands marine artifacts. Mystic Seaport is a maritime museum well worth a few days stay.

Having a life long fascination with old sailing vessels, we had to stay here. Now, this was not a mistake; in fact, this has been one of our best stops. Great harbor master, easy tie although not floating docks. But the best was the museum and ships. Good stop

This place is special, when the seaport is closed to public boat owners are allowed to walk the grounds freely. This place is one of a kind ! My only wish , floating docks.
