Miami River, FL
One of Miami’s principal yacht service areas is along the Miami River, which flows out from the Everglades and divides the city. From its mouth at Mile 1090 on the ICW the navigable section of the Miami River extends upstream 4 miles to its head of navigation at 36th Street.
Most of the operations along the river are primarily repair facilities. Marine services along its banks include custom builders, yacht brokers and boat dealers, sales and service agents, propeller specialists and sailmakers. Along with these are full-service haul-out, repair and storage yards.
